It is our great pleasure to inform and invite you to participate in our now traditional SPRING SYMPOSIUM ON EMERGENCY MEDICINE, organized by the Emergency Center of the University Clinical Center of Serbia and the Association “The Moment of Decision – Emergency Medicine MODEM”.
The IV SPRING SYMPOSIUM ON EMERGENCY MEDICINE, titled WHERE EVERY SECOND COUNTS, will be held on May 21, 2025, starting at 09:00 AM, at Hotel “M”, Bulevar Oslobođenja 56a, Belgrade.
This symposium is dedicated to the professional development of physicians who provide initial care to patients – in the field, in emergency admissions, and emergency centers. Through carefully designed lectures, clinical case studies, and panel discussions, participants will have the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in recognizing and treating acute conditions in emergency medicine. The focus will be on making correct and timely decisions in situations where every second can mean the difference between life and death.
A special segment of the symposium will be devoted to a multidisciplinary approach in managing cardiac emergencies, handling life-threatening hemorrhages, complex clinical syndromes, and the importance of proper hydration in critical situations. Additionally, inspirational lectures will highlight the importance of raising awareness about organ donation and its role in emergency medicine.
We expect the participation of over a hundred attendees from Serbia and the region, while lectures will be delivered by leading local and international experts in emergency medicine, cardiology, anesthesiology, surgery, and related disciplines.
